"even i can't pretend you weren't brilliant out there." a small bouquet of flowers is extended towards rachel as sebastian greets her, offering up a rare, but genuine compliment, something that doesn't often come from his mouth without a hidden agenda. this time, though, he means it, coming up empty after desperately attempting to find a flaw in her performance that evening. "you know, there's a lot of amateurs out there -- even some that were on that stage tonight, i'm sure you know who i'm talking about -- but you? you were born for this."
