How do you take your cc screenshots?

depends on what it is. 

For clothing I take the pictures in CAS because of its better lighting. I cut the sims out in PS then put them on my custom background. I have a default replacement white background I use which makes it easier. I do minimal editing to those and just add the images to my template. For poses, i have a few male pose packs i use, and i use casclockspeed cheat to freeze the animation to make picture-taking easier. 

For object cc, I have a conversion of Murano’s photoshoot backdrop from TS3 that a friend converted for me (which is personal use only and wont share for various reasons including TOU). I put my cc on that so the focus is on the objects and not what is around it. The styled shots are just staged images to showcase my cc in the best way possible while showing the possibilities and colour choices. Again, these then go into PS with minimal editing (usually a little sharpening and brightness because of sucky ingame lighting). 

So really, the way I do my promotional material is one of the easiest ways around, i try not to overdo anything so I showcase the cc for what it is, blemishes and all. I have just had a lot of practice with proportions, colours, and ratios to make the images look more cohesive.
