Regarding your 'awesome people like similar things post'--one of my least favorite things on Tumblr is when someone posts vegan hate and then I go to their blog (for whatever reason) and it says they like Doctor Who and Supernatural and Harry Potter and it's like...you were so close to being a decent fucking person. So close.
i know! it's like how do you even appreciate these things with your idiotic brain and stupid face?mostly though they seem to be 15ish year old boys who like things that i don't even know what they are like "homestuck" and anime and bashing females and/or complaining about being friendzoned. they also are usually "libertarians" but don't completely understand anything yet, and they like to photoshop their faces on things, inside jokes with their friends, and my little pony. also, bacon and bacon jokes. oh yeah, and screaming out into the dark "LIVE AND LET LIVE...GEEEZE GUYZZ!"
OKAY NO. The apologetic vegans aren't the worst. The WORST are the people who think they should get gold fucking stars for being 'okay with vegans as long as they don't talk about it.' Fuuuuuuck yooou.
seriously. it's a part of my life, so i'll talk about it. i don't walk into every room and announce that i'm vegan, nor do i introduce myself as danielle the vegan, but if you're going to offer me something not vegan, what the hell do you expect me to do? if you ask me about my life, i'll tell you about my life, which includes being vegan.people are the worst. when can i get a plot of land and start an all vegan farm sanctuary and just hang out with animals and people who are awesome all day.

I'm looking forward to reading more about your vegan experiment. I don't know how much of a difference, healthwise, you'd see in a week though.
I will likely extend it much longer. The kick-back I'm getting from some of my friends has dumped me into "stubborn mode", so now I'm gonna do it for longer just to prove a point. What that point is I cannot say. BUT IT WILL BE PROVEN!
