Indigenous Americans are still victims of the untied states ongoing genocide. They have no catchy slogan or hashtag. They get no mention when talking about racism in America. They're murdered by cops more than any other race. Gail doesn't talk about it on CBS this morning. They dont get a month of stories like we get with black history month. They're still used as racist team names. There aren't constant news stories about the toxic water they're forced to drink. There are no 500k note tumblr posts about their children being stolen and given to no indigenous families.
This will never change. For it to change, black, white, Asian, latinx people would ALL have to admit they're as bad as whites when it comes to indigenous people.
This post, if lucky, will get 3 notes, the majority of races on tumblr(like the country) don't care and are likely waiting for indigenous Americans to go extinct so they won't have to scroll past posts like this.
A very very crucial statement was left out, white people unless you're supporting indigenous causes. I gladly thank tntthe person who pointed this egregious error, of which I'll make no excuse for.
