Review Request: RACIANTAU
My name is Gabriel. I’m the manager/editor/webmaster/co-producer/annoying-best-friend/pushy-critic of the two-person team running RACIANTAU, over at http://raciantau.com
The other half is Salomon Gomez. Sal’s the talent. You know, the person who actually does all the stuff put up on the site. You see, Sal and I believe we got something pretty good going on here. We’ve been publishing every week, two or three times a week, for the past 6 months. The bigger truth is Sal has been practicing his art for 6 years. He has awe-some, fantastic-al, epic stories in his head and on a bunch of Google Docs. Scripts, world-building, character design docs, you name it. But we didn’t think he could make his stories justice (and still can’t for many of them! ;) But we also know that we needed to get out there, we needed to make our voice hear and invite people to see what we’re working on. RACIANTAU is the beginning of that. With Senseless Town and only slightly over a hundred page views a week, I’m reaching out for your help.
Anyway, Sal recently finished the last page of the story that’s currently updating, I Live In A Senseless Town. There are 5 other stories already published online. We would highly appreciate if you could find yourself at our website and have a look around. Once you review our site I hope you notice the improvement that I see in my friend’s writing, line-art, coloring, and composition in only 6 or 7 months of work, put that in the context of amateur webcomics as a whole, and possibly share that with your community. I’ve been also trying to make the website a good experience, but that is something that I know I need to invest more time in, and would also love any feedback from someone like yourself.
Whew, now this is an entertaining pitch! I’ll be happy to check out the comic when I get the chance, to do so. My first impressions so far is that it looks very interesting.
