"Another one, huh?" Robert muttered, looking down at his arm. Another bruise, bright blue. Enough of a different color from his own that he knew where they came from.
His soul mate, whoever they were. They seemed to be going through a lot, and he wished he knew how to help. He just didn't know what to do.
Wait, maybe if he....
Robert reached into his kitchen drawer, and pulled out a paper clip. Unbending it, he fanned out his fingers, and started scratching into his hand. He bit his lip at the pain, but knew this would do something.
ARE YOU OKAY?

"Um....didn't exactly expect this...."
(radiant-royal-red) "And there's nothing I can do to change your mind?"

"Not this time, babe. I’m not going to spend New Years in the city."
(radiant-royal-red) It's a nightmare that shakes her from her slumber, sending her bolting upright from her bed beside him. She wasn't altogether settled in yet but she was beginning to look more like herself again and that was a start. She'd gone pale, cold sweat glazing her skin as she takes a few ragged breathes in way of air. Glancing down at him to see if she'd woken him up.

Robert was a light sleeper, always was, and he’d noticed when she started fussing and then shot up, awake.
"Hey," he muttered sleepily, reaching over to the bedside table and turning the light before sitting up himself "you okay?"

hey guys. Look, I was thinking, I'm actually interested in perhaps doing a thread with the three of us? Where Delia meets Roberts mother?
Thing is, I have no clue how to go about doing this, or if you guys are interested. Let me know if you ARE interested, though, please?
(radiant-royal-red) "Sweetheart, I brought home some red wine." She called coming through the doors, "Robert are you home? If you're not, I'm drinking this and eating most of the leftovers myself."

"What?" Robert looked up from the couch, honestly feeling like crap. It wasn’t often he was sick, but he’d been working himself to the bone lately and that meant he was more susceptible to it. The cold had started with a little tickle in the back of his throat, and got worse rapidly.
"Over here, babe." he called out, sneezing into a tissue "sorry, don’t think I can join you this time….."
(radiant-royal-red) "Robert I have to go- it's for your own good." She's near tears as she makes sure to keep space between them. "I don't think you'll ever see me again."

"What?" he froze in place, not sure what to say "Delia, what’s going on? Please, just…just tell me why. Maybe we can fix it, whatever happened, we can fix it.
"Please....don't leave."
