Father of 4 already aged kids. Former astronaut. He was thought dead after an incident when his module was returning to Earth exploded midair. He was found six months after with no recollection of the previous five years and forced to retire, even after he regained his memory.

He’s widowed, as his wife didn’t handle well the recovery time and gave herself away to some addictions.

He is a metahuman product of cosmic radiation.

He can transform his body into cosmic energy and release this in the form of electricity, fire, radiation, such as ultraviolet, infrarred, light, etc, including a cold touching energy that can freeze anything. Additionally, he can fly, phase through matter and force matter to phase, become invisible by accessing an in between plane (thus can’t be reached) and is immune to telepathy due to his mind coexisting in another plane with the minds of others like him (meaning any telepathy would be overwhelmed); he’s physically enhanced in all aspects and upon his return his body was silghtly modified.

He has a little limp as he pretends not to be fit.

Upon forced retirement, he became a science teacher at a high school/college.

His name is RadiantStar

Although married for years, he came out of the closed to his children before leaving to Space, as he identified as gay even if he loved one woman and one woman only in his entire life.
