Last Edit I swear: Another reason Arian’s choice in species serves as a good nod to Silver is because Totodile was introduced in the games Pokemon Gold and Silver, which is actually why I settled on a Gold Bandanna for him based off of the concepts Feral came up with! That and because of the classic contrast between the two colors of course!

I was gonna wait until I could get around to drawing him but that’s likely gonna take a hot minute considering how little I draw these days and I figured it’d get my mind off a personal stuff so screw it!
Ladies, Gents, and Enbies of the PMD Community I am proud to present my Poke Sona’s partner in crime for the Rescue Team series, Arian the Totodile!
This bright optimistic fierce little fella was a custom design I took the liberty of commissioning from @feralwolf1234 after being quite impressed by a Pokemon themed adoptable batch they whipped up for a Discord server I’m in recently, one of which I actually took the liberty of adopting if you’d like to check them out here, and I figured who better than to design him than Feral themselves?
His name is Arian because it just so happens to mean Silver in Welsh and in case he weren’t already obvious he’s meant to serve as a parallel to none other than Silver the Hedgehog while also sporting a little visual nod to Gary De Snake from Zootopia as I’ve become rather fixated on the franchise since seeing it at the start of this year and I thought it’d be cute if he took some inspiration from the characters physical features.
For a character that serves as a reflection to a Hedgehog with Psychokinesis however you might be wondering why I choose a Totodile of all things over a Psyduck or Cyndaquil based off the options available to me within the Rescue Team games. Well admittedly… as weird as it might sound given the circumstances… I chose Totodile because I once knew someone from my youth who not only was a major fan of Silver the Hedgehog but one of his favorite Pokemon just so happened to be Totodile so I guess you could say…despite everything he and his twin sibling put me through and all the psychological scars they left behind…it’s my way of holding onto a good part of him till the day I die even if he’s no longer in my life nor can be. It also just wound up working out from a gameplay perspective as well as one other reason I won’t get into for potential spoilers for a future project I’m quietly working on behind the scenes!

Breaking away from the reupload grind for a moment, I'd like to celebrate the Year of Eevee as well as honor the recent release of Legends ZA by finally presenting the conceptual design I created for my Pokesona last summer to the public at large!

With that being said however, with the exception of all the pieces I created and uploaded prior to my watermark being made, I will be slapping the unwatermarked variations of my pieces behind a paywall from now on to try and bypass this problem as much as possible as well as encourage the very few people who like my work as of right now to consider supporting me finically as much as they possibly can since my Ko-Fi page sadly hasn't been doing to well due to the lack of engagement as well as advertisement on my part, which I'm doing my best to rectify but it's kind of hard to sit down and do anything creatively let alone break out procrastination habit and this weird art block I've had since Summer of 2022 when I've gotten pretty busy with my new job since mid March. I'm trying though and will definitely continue to provide the Watermarked Versions of all my work from here on out for the general public to enjoy and download if they so wish for the sake of media preservation and allowing my work to be readily accessible as much as feasibly possible.
