Yet another fascinating new artist to make his debut in recent weeks is Radio Wolf, aka Oliver Blair, a Canadian/British composer, songwriter, and producer whose sound is described on his Soundcloud profile as a fusion of electronic music and rock’n’roll with a distinct retro edge. He goes a bit meta on us with his first single, named Song On The Radio. There’s plenty of 80′s synthwave allure on the neon hued synthpop and dance pop gem, which features breathy vocals by Marika Gauci (Hotel Motel). Song On The Radio certainly feels like it’s a perfect radio fit. It’s catchy and vibrant, a sleek pulsing, bittersweet twirling delight through and through. The song is lifted from a forthcoming EP of four original songs featuring a fine roster of guest vocalists, expected to arrive come Halloween.
