Certamente non è la prima volta Elvis millenovecentonovanta (L-Vis 1990) mette mano ad un classico del 1984 e lo avvolge con la sua prestigiosa patina funky, ma ogni volta lo elogiamo e lo condividiamo. Questa volta è toccato a quelli che lui stesso definisce i suoi "jazz heroes", ovvero gli Steps Haead autori di "Radio-Active", una chicca electro anni '80 col fusion che si usava molto all'epoca. Elvis è riuscito ancora una volta a mantenere il sax ed i synth jazzeggianti dell'originale ma allo stesso tempo modificando il bassone in qualcosa di vagamente simile a Beverly Hills Cop. La traccia, inoltre, è liberamente scaricabile su SoundCloud.

Today I went to an actual record store (Radio-Active in Fort Lauderdale, FL) for the first time in my life and it really couldn't have went much better. The clerk was awesome and nothing like the record douche I expected to run into (he even suggested me a few records). They had things I never expected to see. I was surprised to see so many artists in the used section that aren't very popular. Anyway There's the list: (granted I went overboard as I'm on vacation and don't have a store like this at home).

I literally shit a brick when I flipped and saw BJM and This Will Destroy You's first album, first pressing for $8. The clerk recommended ELP when I mentioned I recently fell in love with Yes' The Yes Album. It was a great experience and I'll definitely stop back every time I come down here.
