Hello! I've had my marimo for nearly 2 years now, and he's living with my african dwarf frog, cupcake. Recently I have noticed that my marimo has been floating non-stop, and appears to have a lot of little "fuzz" growing. I also have a 10 gallon aquarium with a school of corydoras that has been battling another type of hair algae. I was wondering.. Is it possible that my marimo is infested with another type of clado algae?? ): if so will a blackout help??

It is possible, a salt bath could help. A blackout might help but marimo need light to survive, short periods of time without light should is fine.

Normally I’d say something stupidly corny like “in the arms of the girl I love” but as for a place that I can actually be, I like sitting downtown at night watching people walk by and taking in the movement and the life of everyone. I also really like looking at the river with the trees going in steps up the mountain behind it. My family owns a cabin in Canada on the Ottawa River and I go up there every now and then. I like being surrounded by nature, whether its buildings and nature made by man, or trees and nature made.. well.. naturally. I prefer the simple stuff.
