Which loose thread would you like to see picked back up again, from any series?
Idk if it’s loose threads exactly, but I always thought Voyager dropped the Borg kids too soon. The borg baby that was never seen again??? I thought Janeway could have adopted that baby. At least show us where the baby is going? And the way every other kid was shipped away aside from Icheb instead of them finding families on board wasn’t right either. It was the same as with Alexander in TNG. They introduce child characters but then some writers change or something and they loose interest and drop them.
Other thread: Lon Suder. I dislike the trope of redemption through sacrifice. Of course it’s easy to forgive people when they’re dead!
What’s actually interesting is seeing them fight every to be able to live with themselves, to be able to live among others, to be able to regain a sense of purpose. Janeway hade to make the decision to put Suder in his quarters for what might be a 75 year journey. I would like to have seen that decision play out, instead of them having a cop out where they just kill him.
