On August 14th, 1945, actor, musician, comedian and author Steve Martin was born in Waco, TX.
Martin charted his "King Tut" single to #17 in the US in 1978. A skilled musician, Martin has a regular gig with his Bluegrass band, the Steep Canyon Rangers.
