Ok computer (Mexican thoughts around the album)

In the first place I want to introduce this short text as the singular view of a stratified group of individuals who occupied the area of Mexico city and its conurbations round the nineties and all most were teenagers whit the same musical tastes and submerged in the same cultural environment. And this is how it goes, this is a brief text about the growing pains and how a whole generation has been touched by an album of 53:21 Length. All presented as a epigrams collection track by track.

As a millennial I consider my self as a children of disillusions, modernity doesn’t seems to be what it supposes to, at 1997 human kind was inspired by the sign of Kyoto Protocol, Radiohead released ok computer in the U.K. but in Mexico the Acteal massacre was perpetrated as a reminder of the power of the state.

Twenty years later things continue getting worse: Donal Trump will retire the USA. From the Paris Climate Agreement, murders in Mexico rose to new highs, and the violent pace can only intensify, yet the tiny light of hope tells me that it can not stand still that way for a longer.
