rhea rounded the corner swiftly, her face lighting up immediately when her hues landed on rory. “there’s my favorite girl.” she spoke, grinning a bit as she approached the blonde. “are you ready to go?” she questioned, placing her hands on her hips her eyes traveling up and down the length of the other female. it was their weekly date night, which for them usually meant driving half an hour out of their way to catch a movie and eat some dinner. being in a relationship nobody else knew about wasn’t exactly the easiest thing, but rhea was doing her best to keep the romance alive regardless. it wasn’t like she was ashamed of rory, it’s just that, nobody would understand their relationship. rhea was here on a soccer scholarship, still found time to be an active member of her sorority, and get straight a’s. she was the life of every party and a total social butterfly. rory was well —not the most popular girl around. they didn’t make sense as a couple, but that didn’t stop them from doing what they were doing. “i already brought my car around so you can follow me.” she mentioned, looking down at her shoes. she could tell that rory was getting fed up with the lying. constantly having to take separate cars anywhere they were going, pretending they didn’t know each other when they walked past one another on campus. it wasn’t ideal, but rhea thought they had both agreed on these terms when they first got together.
