uhhh here's a new one! you know the yellow alternate palette of Pit? everyone calls him Sunshine, he responds to it quicker than Pit at this point.

Pit (regular edition) kinda views him as a little brother figure despite them being the exact same age. because they're the exact same guy. just different universes with different color palettes. not confusing at all! (it's confusing)

Never had the idea of the alternate costumes being AU versions of the fighters 🤔

Tunche does contain Hat Kid!! The demo was just released today (like literally, only a few hours ago at most, and it'll only be up until Monday sadly) and she's one of the 5 playable characters! Even if the demo only has four rn,, It's a charming 3D hand-drawn beat-em-up and I'd totally recommend it! They also totally did her justice so, would 100% recommend to at least check out the demo while you can

Hi!! I'm really really excited for your Genny mod, and I love the progress so far! I wanted to offer to help if you want to have other characters have custom lines for her- I can best write Willow & Wurt, but I'd have to put my mind to do ones for others. (I can even do some lines for Genny if you need ideas.) I also have a slight gameplay mechanic idea centering around Genny's sanity, if you're interested. If not, that's fine! Best of luck! :D

as for the other things you mentioned! i’d love to hear the gameplay mechanic you had in mind! i’m always up for hearing more ideas, and while i’d rather still not give away her abilities just yet since i’m trying to playtest them and and re-calibrate if they get to challenging or are to easy i can say that her character is pretty heavily centered around sanity mechanics!

when it comes to writing lines for genny herself though i am a bit more protective over it since i just let friends of mine pretty much have free reign, i didn’t have anything in mind for her and they graciously stepped up and offered to help, they’re the ones making all her lines and characterization happen and i’m insanely thankful for that, but because of that being the case i’d like to just make sure that there’s no chance of sabotaging their hard work and that they’re alright with it. i’d gladly hear out 1 or 2 lines on their own and run them by the people working on it. this goes for anyone really, if you have questions on if a quote is already written for just ask!

Nana from Ice Climber has ADHD! In the original game, she is shown to be very easily moved to tears when losing (RSD be like that). Also, in Smash Bros DOJO (sort of like a website for SSB Brawl), she’s described to have an “occasional impulse to wander off”. In Smash Ultimate, she seems to be overwhelmed easily, like how she panics whenever Popo is grabbed by another fighter (which may fall under sensory overload because this is mid-battle which is probably overwhelming). Also when she panics she hops back and forth from foot to foot, which seems kind of like nervous stimming to me, in a way.

one time i was roleplaying with some of my friends and when one of my characters became evil (i forget what her name was before the event but it started with moon) she changed her name to moonblood and my friend, in character, immediately called moonblood out for her edgy name and honestly? iconic
