There tends to be a small gathering of people with no father or who have stiff relationships with the fathers they do have; such people include the Links, Lucas, Rosalina, Cloud, Banjo & Kazooie, etc. They usually get some kind of treat like cake or ice cream to get their minds off of things.

Any new Mewtwo headcanons?

Mewtwo enjoys being in Smash due to the greater challenge in battle; though there's some frustration from being bound to the rules of the SSBverse (especially in cases such as WoL), it's satisfying to not instantly obliterate most of its opponents and end the fight as soon as it starts (as stated in its Pokedex entries, it never holds back in battle).

Related to the above, it's among those who really wants to fight the Hand(s) at full power (preferably somewhere within its own world).

Master Hand doesn't just reach into space to acquire fighters--he also reaches into various points in their timeline to grab different fighters (as proven by the FE reps or, more blatantly, the Legend of Zelda reps).

Despite all the Subspace Bomb explosions being closed up at the end of SSE, you can still go back to the Subspace levels to rescue anyone who got left behind during the main playthrough, or otherwise reenter no longer accessible stages such as the Isle of the Ancients stages. Replaying stages to unlock fighters not available in the main game is required for 100% completion.

In WoL, there are two bad endings you can get if you fight Galeem or Dharkon solo. If you re-enter your save, you're put back right before the fight. Neither of them count for officially completing the mode and therefore are not part of the main timeline, but getting both is required for 100% completion.

Every time you die in an adventure mode (or at least the main two), you're asked if you want to continue (or rework your equipment/fighter in WoL). Specifically in the fight where you play as Master Hand, you're not given a prompt or menu if you die, you're just thrown into the next attempt after a brief loading screen. You have to manually quit mid-battle if you wanna go do something else before your next attempt.

In conclusion:

This motherfucker doesn't just have interdimensional travel abilities, he ALSO has at least minor time manipulation abilities that, at the very LEAST, renders him functionally unkillable, and there is a non-zero chance that this ability of his has saved everyone's asses at some point or another

So we got a remake of Ocarina of Time but I'm a little confused by the intro bc his hand is flashing with the triforce of courage but I'm pretty sure Link isn't supposed to have the triforce of courage at this point in time (as in, part of the plot is the triforce bearers gaining the triforce midway through the story). Sorry if that's spoilers? I'll tag it just in case but idk how necessary it is.

Also someone pls remind me when the Raiders-themed Splatfest starts so I might have a chance to not miss it for once 👉👈

You know how Kirby has three other selves during and supposedly post Amazing Mirror? Do you think they're the alternate colors for Kirby in the same way the Villagers and Inklings work?

I could easily see that being the case: while Kirby already had yellow, red, & green alts prior to KatAM, Brawl (the first Smash game to come out after Amazing Mirror) modified the red and green alts to match the clones from that game (the yellow alt already resembled Keeby who is virtually identical to AM!Yellow Kirby).

Since its pride month. Do you have any lgbt+ headcanons for any of the bosses in smash?

Ehhh, vaguely? Rayquaza is genderless/gender unknown in the main series games. Master Hand & Crazy Hand both feel some flavor of aspec--CH being aroace + indifferent-averse, MH... repulsed + possibly some flavor of litho or aego? Idk

The core bosses are weird to figure out bc like... all of them but Tabuu are called "it" at various points which idk if that's gender-related at all or a generally common/expected way of referring to deities in that universe (both have interesting implications imo).

I’ve always thought of SSB64 being a frat house situation for the cast. All of them having to share the kitchen, bathrooms, and amenities. And collectively dealing with sitcom-esque situations occurring daily with a group small enough for it to usually affect everyone.

Oh absolutely it is. Amenities in Smash have gotten noticeably grander with each new game so it wouldn't surprise me if Smash 64 had humble beginnings even outside of designated battle areas.

The "voices" that Master Hand & Crazy Hand are known for are telepathic projections, rather than their actual voices (which is part of the reason they're omnilingual). They do have voices, though they're much more abstract, kinda along the lines of Galeem & Dharkon's various "voice clips"/sound effects. For instance, Master Hand's true voice is what you hear from Master Core (mainly his final form, minus the Swarm).

The game considers their sounds to be sound effects rather than voices (confirmed by playing with only voice clips on with no music or sfx), though what the game considers sound effects vs voices gets weird with bosses. (E.G., Marx's laugh is considered a voice clip but not his death scream, and Giga Bowser is considered to not have any voice clips at all.) The sounds made by Galeem and Dharkon are noticeably different though.

I headcanon Crazy Hand a guyfailure and I have a very good reason for doing so

It actually has to do with the specific wording used to describe Crazy Hand in the trophy descriptions, like "embodiment of the destructive spirit" and "that hollow feeling from destroying one's own creations" {not sure if these are the exact words used but this is the general idea}, and I took that as him being "destruction" as in "creative frustration and burnout." And I just can't see the symbolic God of Burnout being anything other than pathetic lmao. Combine that with him usually just being a filler boss until World of Light and my characterization for Master Hand {not evil just an asshole with an ego problem, undiagnosed/untreated autism/ADHD, and ambitious to a fault} and you get a sad pathetic loser who is so used to being shoved into a supporting role that he genuinely has no idea what to do in a leadership position and kinda just shuts down under pressure

I get this probably isn't what the devs meant when they described him like this but it's what I initially interpreted it as and I'm sticking with it

Tbh it's not that far off from my own interpretations of Crazy Hand. He's someone who's notably talented and has the capacity for creativity (to a similar or even the same extent as Master Hand), but he pretty much never does anything with it due to hating everything he comes up with. He's deeply insecure about his own creative abilities, but he hates being caught vulnerable and thus doesn't show it much.

I do think him being on the sidelines is more his choice than Master Hand's, though. Even Melee attempted to give him a bit more focus with that one Event Match, which is one of few in Melee that doesn't require having already beaten him in the past, and whose description outright says "Master Hand's the right hand; now meet the left!". This is in direct contrast with his Classic Mode appearance in that game, in which he doesn't show up until the fight with Master Hand is halfway finished (meanwhile he's there from the start in the Event Match). That + him becoming gradually less elusive throughout the series is something I interpret as Master Hand trying to get him to come out of his shell, rather than him being shoved to the sidelines.

I like the idea of Kirby not-so-accidentally scaring some of the worst Smashers (looking at you Kazuya, Ridley, and Sephiroth) with the Void Stare™ if they try to hurt someone outside of battles.

The funnier part is that basically no one believes the Villains if they try to tell anyone about Kirby's actions.

And King Dedede and Meta Knight act like they don't know about it as well lol. If Kirby gives you a Void Stare™, it means you deserved it.
