Well, the slaughter bunker was the first he'd really seen of the apocolypse. He realized that they can't hear him, and he can't help them, no matter how much he wants to. The most he can do is commiserate.
This is a fair point and honestly if I had been in the monster apocalypse for this long I also assume my threshold would probably be raised as well. I think that this is an interesting perspective for someone who has spent a lot of time attempting to save and care for those around him and who’s first thought was to try to save everyone after the apocalypse had happened. Like I said it could be nothing (and I am the first person to admit that I am bad at meta) I just....am thinking...

I like to listen to chatty asmr vids a lot where the youtubers just talk at you and tap on pretty things. those are soothing and don’t require a lot of brain power so i dont feel like im missing anything. OR 2005 Pride and Prejudice. i’ve seen that movie so many times i know it beat for beat so its comforting to have on.

What section do you immediately head for when you walk into a bookstore?
I rarely go to new bookstores but I love poking around the used book shops near me. I usually head straight to the fantasy sections or I see if they have any Austen novels I don’t already own. Mostly though I just like browsing to see what they have.

Yes!!! This is so cute, I love the concept of Georgie and Melanie being very visually different but fitting together so well. Chubby Georgie is so good as well, I love her!!

Oh melanie is absolutely the shortest person in the whole archives + georgie so shes the shorter of the two and mad about it. And Georgie would never lord if over her girlfriend that shes taller (ok well maybe just a little bit)
(Also, Whatever you do dont think about Georgie bending down to kiss Melanie on the head when they're standing next to each other)

Oh valid, anon. She definitely does have that short kind of energy to her doesn't she? Short and energetic.
I have to admit my visualization of her is taller (but tall to me is over 5'5" so I might not be the best judge of height) but all Georgies are loved and cherished here.
