Today in Romanian Gym Drama - Marian Dragulescu wants to sue Andreea Raducan
This is the result of the conflict they’ve been having for a while now on whether Dragulesu deserves his full wage or not for the last two months. I already posted about that here.
Now there’s more. Dragulescu says he will sue Raducan because, according to Romanian law, she technically has no right to make decisions since she is, and has been, on maternity leave ever since she became RGF President. Thusly, he says, Raducan’s decision to cut down his wage is an abuse.
Raducan also contacted her lawyers to prove Dragulescu is wrong.
Dragulescu also claims he’s been warned that a press conference will take place soon as a start to a campaign meant to denigrate him if he will not drop the charges agains Raducan.
Further more, he blames the RGF for making him compete at Swiss Cup last year, for refusing to register himself and Catalina Ponor as candidates for FIG Athletes’ Representative position, and for leaving without a doctor to Doha World Cup (happening right now) where Cristian Bataga tore his Achiles tendon.
