Radul Jastrow (Alina Starkov ship)

Grisha in Ravka are set, they get to be tested and live in the Little Palace and serve Ravka in the Second Army. For many it was an honor. For Radul, it sounded awful, just another exploit of powers. So he avoided it, he knew he could summon the wind since he was a boy but when the time came to be tested, he hid. It was easy to overlook him with all of his siblings, so he got to avoid it. He made friends with two kids from the orphanage in his village, Mal and Alina, and so when they ended up going to the First Army, he went with. It was a good life for Radul, he had two best friends and was just ready to live out his life as a soldier. Then he and Mal are chosen to go across the Fold, and Alina comes with, and suddenly Alina is summoning light and the General is saying she is the Sun Summoner. He has one chance to keep an eye on Alina, a promise to Mal, and so he revealed his own capabilities to go to the Little Palace with her
