I can finally share my art for Radweek!!!! (Enlarge for clearer quality, I think the smoke got to him)

Prompt 1: blood red/starlit silver

It ended up being very different from my original concept, but I still like it :) the original plan had just been to add color to his scarf and any silver elements, but then I kept adding things as I went and ultimately it looked better all colored in lol.

For the blood red prompt, there's his scarf and the Skalitz crest bar; for starlit silver there's the hilt of his sword and 30 pieces of silver, the 29th being the pommel of his sword and the 30th being smoke Istvan's eye, as an allusion to Judas's betrayal. The whole thing is set in front of fire and smoke to evoke the burning of Skalitz 💞

Ty to the person behind the Radweek event, because I've had art block for a LONG time and I obsessively smashed almost the entire thing out in a single day. It was nice to draw again!

Written for Rad Week 2026 — Day 4 Long Journey/Short Farewell

Before the raid of Skalitz, Radzig spends his time split between time in Prague as King Wenceslaus Royal Hetman and Rattay where he warms Hanush of Leipa's bed. They are old friends with old habits that die hard. This time, Radzig has been called back to Prague once more and after already delaying a week, his time has run out. When Radzig leaves, Hanush is left with the ghost of a memory and filthy letters he cannot read to keep him warm. So he bribes his well-read nephew with groschen into reading the anonymous filth to him.
