For work-related reasons I’ve had to ban sewing to the weekends, but when that weekend hits, it’s on. Spent a pleasant couple of days putting together a quilt top!

Fabric: mostly Camp Wander by Rae Ritchie
Deets: Started January 2019, finished June 2019. Machine pieced, hand-quilted. How many hours? A lot.
The ocean quilt top is done, and I’m so happy with it! Pattern is Framed Folk by Modernly Morgan, and the fabric is the Aweigh North collection from Rae Ritchie. The only mod is the border - I wanted the quilt a smidge larger, so I bought another yard of the background fabric and added a 4.5″ strips around the edge.
Now to figure out the backing fabric!
Very slowly getting the hang of these blocks. Three down, nine to go! (Please enjoy the one tiny section of the block where I got the points to match up)
