Days 3-5! Trying to play with colors I don't normally use (hello cobalt blue) and pushing myself to stick with bigger brushes
Trying out the #pleinairpril challenge this year. Days 1 and 2. Here we go!
Toddler-sized quilt for my niece's birthday last year. It's my second time using this pattern (made a larger version of this quilt that's since been given away, will have to track down some finished pics of it), and I'm seriously considering making a third.
Pattern: Rainbow Falls by Wren Collective
scrappy quilt, haven't gotten too far with it
Pattern: Eden quilt by Tales of Cloth
a little project that's been on the to-do list for a while

My favorite painting from class - we took one reference image and used it for the composition and then a second reference image and used it for the lighting. It was a cool challenge!
playing around with a new quilt idea
things I've picked up off the ground this fall
a little bit of outdoor painting with my buddy
More homework! This time we took a reference photo and did a 5-value study, then a color study, trying to keep the initial values in mind.
Took a painting class last month, here's one of the exercises - take a 3-value composition and reduce complexity (twice!).
Really gets you thinking about how you can play with shapes!
some doodles from a summer project
help i made a post for the first time in six months and now my dash is haunted by a mechanical teeth button
oh goodness, the uploader has changed
more little paintings from earlier this year
I am not immune to the siren song of making very tiny things
(although this has been sitting half-finished on a shelf since April, so I am perhaps immune to completing them)
