Jin’s still a pain in Heaven’s ass— (what a way to open a post lol)

Wanna know why?

The only thing that’s keeping Sundown AU from being the canon storyline for her, is her position as the next Sun (Crow) - relationships outside of the Celestial Realm, especially with humans, are still heavily frowned upon in Heaven’s Bureaucracy.

Imagine the Court’s collective groan as this perfectly trained, well-mannered Duchess (who hasn’t had a thread out of line since she was a literal child (that’s a lie, thanks Nezha)) gets friendly with a (half)DEMON of all creatures and there’s NOTHING the Court or The Jade Emperor can do about it, because she’s too valuable.

Jin knows exactly what’s she’s doing too, and the rest of her family laughs at the youngest’s clever antics, because they KNEW the day would come she’d make herself unequivocally indispensable and they couldn’t be prouder.

With Red Son I’m sure there were times he did.

Unfortunately with Jin it was a little different, less a request and more an obligation, a direct order. At least it started that way, he became more and more comfortable with the prospect and got to the point of enjoying it.

He didn’t mind it persay, there were just moments that live in his subconscious. Lol he’s a bit dramatic

🔆 Lore of the Month! 🔆

(In regards to Canon - S3E6)

When Mei, MK and Sandy left the Bull King’s Fortress - Jin was, in fact, left behind.

Not maliciously! She had spent a large amount of energy preventing the group from burning up in the desert and slept through most of the episode as a result.

The group was convinced that with her abilities she would’ve been able to catch up/find them no problem. (But as we know, Jin can’t read a map to save her life as was effectively stranded)

The next time she actually makes an appearance (show wise) is when her and Red Son find Mei near the small temple and the rest proceeds as normal.

(Which means that Jin is completely unaware of the events that occurred in S3E10 until she’s told later)
