I like to think his hair, when hot enough - it can move like magma (ie. lava lamp) hence the naturally occurring gradients in his hair :D

“She slowly cast a gaze to the other in the room, now hunched over his work desk with the utmost concentration; clearly trying to avoid further conversation on the topic.

It was a subtle realisation, nothing earth-shattering but enough to stun Jin into silence. It was almost missable.

Mere weeks ago she had been with the group, lamenting her concerns about returning to the Celestial Realm. She had felt her lowest. It was then she was slowly lead away by the hand, she made no move to pull away or protest, feeling too exhausted to do so - besides she was around those she trusted, there was no need.

With a light squeeze, a bright light and a comforting warmth, she found herself within the walls of the Bull King’s Fortress. At the time she’d thought nothing of it, a nice gesture, a place to stay with good company. Now she realised the smaller things: A room made for her, favourite fruits stashed where she could find them, Redson’s thinly veiled smile whenever she would return. It seemed obvious to the outside, a co-companionship one may call it. However, according to the literature in front of her… maybe a little more than that.

She found herself smiling regardless. What strange customs… she could get used to them.”

I jest >:3c In all aspects he's actually quite happy to be an honorary Uncle - and luckily for him the couple only have 1 little Firestarter, so it's manageable.

(Plus he only takes care of their kid on the rare occasion, so he's chill with it ^^)

When did jin and red son meet?

Jin was present in the Celestial garden when Mei and Redson went to retrieve an Immortal Peach - where she attempted to dissuade the two from stealing; but upon hearing the situation, she fully just handed them one (throughly displeased she didn’t know about the INVASION on Earth.)
