Eeeey, wassup? I’m the DM, Snow/Blair... We collectively decided to make a DnD blog based on our campaign based in Zephia. Maps and art will eventually come. Stay tuned for the adventurers’ intros!

A Short Summary

Session 1 - 10/24

Kai, Rafaele, and Elin, gladiators in the Keyhan Arena, receive a quest from Sixon Dewill XXXI, an elf in Ryan Kolo’s coalition, to go to the village of Cadwell, to retrieve an enchanted necklace. They leave the Keyhan Arena, letting Kai and Raf see the outside for the first time.

Session 2 - 11/07, 11/14

Elin and Raf get lodgings at The Lion’s Bride, while Kai heads to the magical bookstore called Bottle Shock, buying two books before meeting up with the other two. After that, the trio head to find Elin’s friend Astra.

The House of Favors, the brothel at which Astra worked and owned, was taken over by a man named Peter Baylesh. Baylesh informed Elin that Astra went missing two years prior. Elin searches Astra’s room, finding a puzzle. When the puzzle is unlocked, Elin finds a bottomless chest. Inside the chest is a trident made of obsidian with three blue gems near the join of the handle and the spikes.

A voice tells Elin to “find the lost scion.” They quickly go to another friend’s, Trident’s, hideout. He, too, is gone. Nothing points to where he has gone. Shellshocked, Elin takes the other two back to The Lion’s Bride.

That night, Kai has a strange dream - the Arena is on fire, with the barkeep Yvette Jule being the only survivor. Then, they fall into shadows, with Tie unable to reach them.

Session 3 - 11/21

The three leave Keyhan and head to Cadwell, about five miles southeast of Keyhan. The resident innkeep points them to the Red Woods, which is rumored to live off of blood. They learn that the leader of the bandits is a tiefling that wears a mask. They make their way to the Woods afterward.

They eventually find a cave, and Elin sneaks in. They free one of the prisoners and take him back to Raf and Kai. The prisoner, named Solfah, retches flowers and leaves which startles the party greatly. They grill him for information, but deign him insane when he tells them that the god of life is Kartonel, not Tie.

They deal with the bandits easily, but when Elin looks in the last room, it’s someone unexpected.

It’s Trident, extremely ill. Elin and Kai do their best to save him but to no avail. Trident advises Elin to go to the Gaang Mountains in the northeast region of Emia’s territory. Then, he dies. Elin takes his mask and the necklace, which is in a strongbox.

The group take a guard as prisoner, Solfah following after them because he has no idea what else to do.

When they return to Keyhan, the Arena is ablaze. Rafaele, who was carrying the prisoner, drops him off at a guardhouse and follows Kai on their mad dash to the Arena.

When they go inside, there are strange, cloaked figures. They are manhandling Kai’s lover, Grae. Raf shifts into a bear and Kai attempts to fight them, but they disappear through a portal and it’s too late.

Outside, Elin and Solfah watch as Sixon battle the fire with Control Water. The barkeep, Yvette, approaches the two. The necklace’s box glows when she approaches, getting warmer and warmer. When Yvette holds the box with Elin, it gets too hot for Elin to hold, but Yvette is fine.

Elin tells Sixon that the necklace was not there. He doesn’t believe them.

Eventually, after the fire is put out and the group returns to the Lion’s Bride, Yvette eventually confesses to Elin and Solfah that she’s pregnant. Elin tries to give the necklace to her, but she refuses, implying that it’s not for her - it’s for her child.

Elin relents, telling her that they will keep it for her and her unborn child. Everyone heads up to their respective rooms and goes to bed.
