The Border is Open, And My Career is Waiting.
We have lived every day in Gaza under bombing and destruction, even when the world thought there was a "ceasefire". For us, the pain never paused.
Thankfully, with the Rafah crossing reopening for limited travel as of February 2, 2026, I see a glimmer of hope. I hold a university degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza, but there are no job opportunities here amidst the rubble. I am holding my certificate in the picture in front of our destroyed home as a symbol of my determination to build a better future.
This is my dream: to travel outside of Gaza and start my career, not just to escape, but to be productive and support myself and my family.

The Need is Immediate: Every donation goes directly towards covering travel costs, initial living expenses, and the expensive fees required to cross the border.
Please, Don't Forget Us: Even with the crossing open, only a small number of people leave each day. Your support determines if I will be one of them.
Please, reblog to help spread the word and donate if you can.
