What I Wore | Old School
WhatIWore: Dang. I love this outfit. It’s the kind of thing that almost has a thrifted vibe and reminds me so much of my old school days shopping Beacon’s Closet in Brooklyn. And I say thrifted because it feels a little more creative - a little less off the mannequin that the outfits that seem to get pinned or complimented online. And I like that!
This dress is a silhouette Old Navy puts out in different patterns over and over again (case in point - I’ve bought two other prints here and here). I like the white because it’s cute on it’s own but I also kind of like it for fall. It’s not a crisp blueish shade, but it’s not cream either. Just a good milky tone that looks pretty with black (I think it’ll look so cute with tights and a turtleneck too!
The jacket was a splurge I bought during the Nordstrom sale and I foresee myself wearing it many ways over the next ten or twenty years! Now if it would be cool enough I could keep it on all day....
