I've been entertaining myself by watching a Let's Play of the old JRPG Legend of Legaia for PS1 lately and while it's a very good Let's Play this guy will not stop pronouncing "genesis" with a hard "G". Considering there are objects called "genesis trees" at the very center of the plot line (there's even one on the cover art for the game) he says this word constantly in his commentary and every single time I feel like throwing my head against a wall. It's pronounced "jehn-uh-sis" dude not "gehn-uh-sis" What's worse is not a single person commented about it when he was posting these so it's going to continue for the whole fucking game ughhhh Words are painful
