[ TXT ] : be outside in two minutes or you're dead (sent from an unknown number to ted and reg)
ONE NEW MESSAGE.
✦ HE'S WATCHED TOO MANY SEASONS of pretty little liars for this. a brief backwards jaunt through recent memory gives him a list of sixteen people who might potentially want to send him vaguely-threatening messages at — he lifts @proditeur's wrist briefly to check the time on his watch — ass o'clock at night, but that list shortens considerably once he removes all the old coots who wouldn't know how to work a phone, never mind get a hold of his personal number.
the disconcerting part isn't that he's being threatened, its that his location is — potentially — compromised. his, and regulus' too. teddy makes no move that might confirm or deny anything, not yet.
[ txt > UNKNOWN ]: ???????
he'd told the staff at the reception desk to filter any messages meant for mr dupois directly through him first — not in a secretarial way (heaven forbid! he'd be the worst secretary in the world), just a, nobody can know he's staying at this hotel way — and now teddy has to wonder if someone down below wasn't trying to get on his nerves a little.
"did you order anything off my phone," he asks regulus, mildly, "or piss off the staff on our way up here?"
[ txt > UNKNOWN ]: its been 4 minutes and i'm not dead yet?
