he had learned that if he ever needed medical attention while staying in arkadia,   he could come to abby to be assisted.   he trusted her the most,   knew that she could help him   —   but he was met by someone else.   “   you’re not abby.   ”   words are sudden and features contort to express worry,   jaw tensing as adam stopped in his tracks immediately.   he’s gone quiet,   shifting on his feet and with every second that passed,   he grew more and more tense.

     “ Wait ! ” The petite grounder threw herself out of the woods and grabbed the stranger’s shirt, pulling him away from the nearly invisible drop, cursing internally at herself. She’d been following him for most of the afternoon, staying hidden in the shadows. The fog, not deadly in it’s own right but simply a result of the weather that was moving in, had rolled in earlier that morning. It’s dense grey weight impairing vision and giving Ra even more invisibility. It had been good for her, up until that moment, her earlier scout of the land had already been mapped into her head and she remembered the dangerous ravine from before. 

     “ You’d fall. ” She stated gruffly in explanation of her actions and sudden appearance, preparing to disappear back into the forest. “ Watch where you’re going next time. ”
