@rageleft sees heaven/hell

                  brows raised ever so slightly but he shrugged.    ❛      choose because of what you think, not what others might.    ❜      he had always done what he needed to do to survive. he didn’t stop much to think about what other moral bounds he may have crossed as long as he was in the bounds of his own. still now that he was in the same town for more than a month he suddenly was faced with not being alone, with having company. the nephilim was learning now what it meant to be cared about.

                                 boy crowned king with no one by his side. now he has his own queen. edward had suggested that they unpack a few of her items rather than leave it to servants. amusement sat upon his features as he looked over at her, brow raised ever so slightly.        ‘      you do it, then, if you’re so clever     ’     the challenge was teasing but it still hung in the air waiting to see if she would take him up on it.

             it was the anniversary of the day he was kicked out from his first foster home and he was celebrating the way he always did. he had planned on spending it alone in his home also known as one of the abandoned apartments in town. he didn’t count on cora looking for him. he jumped ever so slightly from her voice having not heard her walking in stuck in his thoughts. he shrugged at her question, eyes trailing to the left were three bottles of vodka sat empty on the floor.   ❝   three, no four bottles.   ❞   his words slurred as he looked up at cora from his seated position on the floor.

                  a smirk appeared on the face of the older woman. it had felt like it had been ages since she felt as though she had the chance to do this.       ❛    what this means to me is that it is time to decorate !    ❜   the words escape her mouth with an excitement. as halloween grew closer she could think of no better time than right now to put up their decorations.
