Raggedchance seemed to be the only one who hadn’t accepted the blue-grey she-cat as their own. He stole prey from her when she was about to eat it, he shoved past her at meetings and in the clearing. Foxpetal and Aldertail weren’t much better. They would grumble and growl at her, never outright hurting her like their father but showing her no respect. Amberfang, however, often spent time with the blue-grey she-cat and that was enough for Jaggedfoot. It came to an absolute boil however when Brokensong made the mistake of bumping into Raggedchance while leaving the dirtplace. “I’m sorry!”
“You know the last FunClan cat to apologize to me got his throat sliced open,” Raggedchance snarled quietly, his teeth bared at her. “He looked an awful lot like you actually. A blue-grey tom.” Brokensong’s eyes widened and she stepped back, almost slipping back into the dirtplace. A few cats returning from a patrol stopped and eyeballed the situation. “I slid my claws into his neck,” Raggedchance bellowed, “You want me to do that to you?”
“I am not a FunClan cat anymore,” Brokensong protested, “My allegiance is to TentClan. To my mate, Jaggedfoot and our son Coinkit.”
“That scrap is not your son and my son is not your mate,” Raggedchance bellowed. Brokensong gasped as Raggedchance bit the air in front of her, causing her to stumble back into the dirt. She yelped, causing heads to turn as they watched Raggedchance stand over her, fur bristled. “I killed a FunClan cat long ago,” he snarled, “And I can do it again.” Brokensong’s eyes shut tightly, tears pricking at the side of her eyes. Raggedchance stalked in front of her, moving back and forth. “FunClan cats BLINDED my beloved Amberfang.”
“And a TentClan cat killed my father!” Brokensong yowled, “But I still joined TentClan because I love your son.”
“Stop saying that!” Raggedchance hissed, “You’re a dirty cheating riddle cat and you’ll never be one of us!” Jaggedfoot was on the scene in minutes, after returning from a patrol of his own. He’d heard the yowling and feared the worst. As Raggedchance opened his mouth to speak again, a small meow was heard behind him.
“Le-le-leave my Mommy alone!”
The clan members who were watching the fight gasped loudly as they heard the small, raspy mew. Both faces were glaring at Raggedchance with fire in their eyes. But it was only one face, the right side, that had spoken. “It can talk?!” Raggedchance gasped.
“Di-di-didn’t you hear me?” Now it was the left side’s turn. “I s-s-said leave my Mommy alone!”
“Coinkit can speak!” Foxpetal gasped.
“Y-y-you’re being mean to her!” Coinkit sputtered, “And it’s not nice! Why do you have to be so cruel to us? We didn’t do anything to you, you-you-you big bully!”

I haven't talked at all about Jaggedfoot's asshat Dad, Raggedchance. Raggedchance used to be jovial and fun until a FunClan cat blinded his mate and Jaggedfoot and Foxpetal and Aldertail's mom, Amberheart. He blamed Jaggedfoot because Amberfang had to spend extra time in the nursery because he was sick.
Anyway OBVIOUSLY his son taking up with a FunClan she-cat and then said cat joining the clan? He's not okay with that.
And Coinkit had not spoken until this point in the story so needless to say everyone is shocked.
