((okay s4 premier is soon enough and I am gonna be sleeping, since is to late here. I am gonna watch it first thing tomorrow, so feel free to send me asks about the episode. Wolf of Kattegat.

A white blanket of snow covered the whole ground of the forest. It even caked in the branches of the trees. A ruthless winter had fallen over Kattegat. The forest untouched by the village for fear of freezing. They stayed huddled in the village.

The quiet crunch of snow as a figure trudged through the snow easily. Almost invisible against the white of the forest. Heading towards the inlets of the ocean for water. Mismatched eyes scanned the empty and bare forest. A tall creature. Well over the average human height and just at 7ft. Long white devilish ears flicked forward with the sounds of a branch snapping in the distance.  A large pink nose sniffed at the air. Intaking any scent lingering in the frigid air. From head to toe the creature was covered in white fur. It was what made her nearly invisible in the winter. It kept her safe and far warmer than any human. Of course running a natural 102 helped. The head of a wolf. The body of a human and digigrade legs. A werewolf in the forest of Kattegat. She had ventured far from her home.

The smell of the water luring her forward. Where there was water they was prey. In this cold relentless weather she had no problem locating and finding prey. Big ears to help hear. And a nose that could smell for hundreds of feet.

The sun had just peaked over the mountains but was still hidden by thick, gray, looming clouds that rolled along. A chill breeze picked up. Kayla grumbled walking through the snow with no problem. Being inhumanly strong had its advantages.

The snow slowly dropped off as she reached a path. Stepping out onto it feeling the hard ground beneath large paws. Glancing up and down it she new this wasn’t animal made. It was human. Which meant people in the area. Though it hadn’t been used. She smelt nothing and saw no tracks. Kayla kept off the track and walked down the now slopping hill. Ahead she could se the frozen waters of the inlet.

It was a quick walk to the shore where she carefully stepped out onto looking up and down it. No signs of people. Looking over the inlet she huffed growling low. Salt water. Flicking her ears back she quickly traversed up the small slope now deciding to follow the path. Fresh water was her only option. The path led to a lonely solemn norse hut. Kayla kept her distance. Listening intently and watched it carefully. She could hear the faint sound of movement from inside. Eyes narrowed and she huddled down quietly in the white snow trying to make out if the barrel out front was filled with fresh water or not. Though the smell of food was what enticed her and made her nostrils flare.

Curiosity got the best of her. Slowly she crept forward on all fours. Ears remained forward so she could hear anything from inside the shack. She crept forward through the snow silently. About 20 feet or so from the house she stopped. Keeping her head down she listened. It was quiet except for the sound of a crackling fire from inside.

The smell of meat hit her nose hard. It made her lick her lips. Drool slicking down from her jaws. Whatever it was it smelt wonderful in this cold weather. Quietly and quickly she crept forward. Right up to the side of the the little hut. Blinking she looked at the closed shutters. Peeking through the small hole of the shutters. She glanced inside with a dark green eye trying to make out what the food was and if it was possible to get. Her large clawed hands gently clicking against the wood as she placed her hands on the shutter to get a better look inside.
