This isn't exactly a video game soundtrack, but the musician Slime Girls has Very Very Good mostly instrumental chiptune type stuff that I very much recommend !! You Belong is probly my favorite track of theirs !

dance macabre was exactly the sort of square hammer spiritual successor i was hoping we’d get and i just LOVE that the 80s vibe is all over the album. (especially in the drums, they make me laugh a bit but just cuz it makes me happy to hear ‘em)

tbh the singles had me a little unsure where the fuck the album was going but godd it all came together so well

Pinnacle - favorite album is probably meliora? i feel weird cuz i missed that whole album cycle, before that when it was just opus eponymous and infesstassisisissusmufsndj i was more into opus but ya kno what? meliora is what Really got me and i’m bummed i missed it!

oml i love those books so much its been ages since i read them

i loved them SO MUCH too!! it’s so funny going back and seeing how much i admired deryn for Gender Reasons before i even had the language to explain it lol
