My cat keeps trying to climb up onto my cello while it's lying in it's case. I keep catching her in the act and yelling at her. She gets down and once I get back to what I was doing she does it again. She's only stared doing thhis a few days ago. I feel like she'll probably break my cello and it's especially bad since it's a rental.

The cello and the first sections: Ugh! 🙄
The violas and seconds: *Start playing the same three measures that they've been playing since the beginning of the class*
The cellos and the firsts: *boredly starring out into space*
Me: *is half asleep*
Me: *Looks over at my two friends sharing a stand in the firsts*
The pretty girl: *is half asleep*
The pretty boy: *is sleeping with his arms wrapped around his violin like it's a teddy bear*
Me: *thinking* Aww he's so cute; but can we please start playing! We've been sitting here during this whole class waiting for these people to learn three measures they should already know how to play. Oh my God, it's not a very hard part and the firsts and cellos can play it fine, why can't they?
Am I the only one who hates SmartMusic. It never grades me right.

Part One of Me Complaining About my Cello

My Crush: (First Violinist) I prefer the low sounding instruments, but for some reason, I keep picking the high instruments. I played the flute and now I play the violin
Me: (Cellist) This is why you should play the cello.
Him: I know, right? The cello is much better!
Our non-orchestra friend that played the cello in the 6th grade when orch started: No! You shouldn't play the cello.
Me: What cello's the best and it's also probably easier, well not to carry...
Teacher: You need a chair right and you sit.
My crush: Yeah.
The friend: Cellos torchier.
Me, my crush, and the first violist: *Jaws drop*
Me: What? It's not torchier!
Her: Yeah it is.
Me: No.
Her: It was the year I played it.
Me: It's fun!
My crush: *Nods* Yeah!
Her: Orchestra's torchier!
Me, my crush, and the first violist: *Jaws drop and we look at each other like she's breaking the law*
All three of us: NO IT'S NOT!
Her: IT WAS THE YEAR I WAS IN IT!
Us: *Makes our fuck you faces, since we can't say it since my crush is a pastor's son, the violist is a Jehovah's Witness, and I'm an American Heritage Girl (Look it up)*
