Had an idea for a fic a while back that CC-era Sephiroth and Zack started encoutering Ragtime Mouth. At first it started asking them obscure bullshit questions about history etc that Sephiroth was really good at. But then it started asking really bizare and intrusive personal questions.

The music is happy and the quiz makes sure you know the lore. It's so cute and fairy-tale.

It definitely tops chocobo hot and cold, which is addictive but not as thematically interesting.

didnt see anything about this with a quick google search so...just fyi, the ragtime mouse appearance rate seems to be absolutely batshit in the forest on vile island. im just looking for the friendly yan and ragtime mouse has appeared FIVE times for me so far. of course theres also the regular goddamn yans to watch out for but yeah

edit: it should be noted that i’m playing the ps1 greatest hits version, not sure if it makes a difference. i mean maybe i just have amazing luck too but it seems wayyyyy too consistent for that
