This city feels like nostalgic to me

It's been just day two I have come here and staying here for my speech therapy programme - one of the prestigious entity of India - AIISH. Thats the second city of south India I'm staying for a longer duration - smaller, calm, and heavily filled surrounded by forest. It's seems like I'm in Vatika and that's what makes it appear like nostalgic.

Growing up in a deserted city - I always dreamt of living between vatika like cities. A city where you could go and pluck a fruit from a tree when you feel hungry. Living between other creatures. That feeling of living in co-existence is highly .. amm.. like kinda feel worthy as human to be born on the planet.

How does living in space feels like?

It is adventurous but yes dangerous. Scary for some.

Experience of solo travelling, figure out things on your own - work for yourself - whatever it takes feels worthy. I'm expecting a new experience from here - of trying out something new.

South India is extremely worthy to explore - I feel like I record everything - every corner of this vatika and watch whenever I feel like to.

I have promised my dad and brother that I'll let them explore the natural beauty of this town. I have recorded a few samples just for myself.

People are friendly - helpful. They wanted to be grounded with their culture. After all, we are Bharatiya. We want to be grounded with our culture.

I don't think how would I feel going back to traffic gravity city. The city is really extremely calm. Yup, a little traffic sometimes that fine but it feels like living in 1800s - era of kings. It was the other day - I saw two horse karts (tanga) were going through the road. A sudden glimpse of feel came like am in 1799.

Why Does Chaos Theory Suddenly Feel So Relevant to Modern Life?

I don't remember exactly when I heard about Chaos theory first. It is interesting - or atleast appeared interesting - like how initial tiny changes lead to extremely massive consequences over time.

They say - one famous example - they always give - when it comes to Chaos theory - like how small, seemingly insignificant actions - like a butterfly flapping its wings in Brazil - can trigger massive, unpredictable changes in complex systems, such as causing a tornado in Texas.

That's the reason it's called as famously - the butterfly effect.

What are its implications in real life?

I know one more good example - the famous - three body problem. Minor variations at the start may seem insignificant, but through compounding, they grow into profound divergence over time - a classic example of Chaos theory.

There is no universal formula that can predict the motion of three gravitationally bound bodies over time, unlike the two-body case, which is well understood and precisely predictable. In the three-body problem, even a minute difference in initial positions can lead to vastly different, indeterminate outcomes.

That is why we currently approach the three-body problem through simulations rather than a direct analytical formula.

Well it's interesting to know that movies and web series have popularized the idea. There are many movies and web series made around it. The one I remember is 2013's The Butterfly effect - it is series of 3 - I believe three parts are out so far.

When it comes to Chaos theory, anyone who truly loves story-driven AAA games can’t miss Life Is Strange - its episode 3 - Chaos Theory. The game captures the very essence of chaos: how small choices, made with good intentions, can spiral into irreversible consequences. Time, causality, and moral responsibility intertwine in a way that feels deeply human rather than mechanical. Very few studios dare to explore uncertainty, guilt, and consequence with such emotional honesty - and Dontnod Entertainment is one of them.

Chaos theory is now a general interest around people. Thanks to mainstream cinema.

Just for the information - it is an important branch of Mathematics.

Cinema Needs No Validation

I consider myself the one having good taste in variety of films. My taste spans cinema across regions and cultures - German, Korean, English, American, Iranian, Chinese, Irish, and of course Indian cinema. Within India, that also includes regional films - Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Kashmiri, and yup more - many of which release only in local single-screen theatres.

You may stumble upon a piece of cinema anywhere - while randomly browsing IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, or the internet in general. The source of the recommendation doesn’t matter. What matters is the film itself.

I’ve come across a few such films that were released, quietly passed through time, and now sit in corners. No big stars, no massive budgets, no fancy sets - just storytelling. Pure cinema.

There are also many good films that do have stars and budgets. This isn’t a rejection of scale. It’s an appreciation of substance.

Green Book

This film is a masterpiece - for me. Its musical structure allows every moment to breathe and be felt deeply. I named it as Musical Paradigm. That’s my personal experience. Mahershala Ali may be in a supporting role on paper, but he is central to the soul of the story. I’m not here to review or spoil anything—this is simply how real cinema feels to me.

The film is based on true events, set during the peak of racial segregation in North America, particularly the Deep South of the 1960s. The background music guides the narrative smoothly, almost invisibly.

There are a few key scenes that are deeply thought-provoking. With minimal dialogue - sometimes just expressions- you can feel what the characters feeling. One such scene is when the car breaks down in the middle of a field. Ali stands quietly, looking across the land, as local workers (native Americans) slowly notice him. His white driver repairs the car. That single moment can be interpreted in countless ways. It sends a strong emotional wave through the viewer.

The Man from Earth

No big stars. No big budget. One room. A handful of actors. It demonstrates the raw power of storytelling - how compelling a plot can be when ideas, not flashy, are in control.

There is no number one or number two here. This is not about ranking films. The filmmaker’s central responsibility, in my view, is to make the story intriguing enough that the viewer can move smoothly through its emotional and intellectual flow.

The Objective

I never imagined that a sense of horror could be created so effectively in broad daylight - light-years away from traditional horror cinema. It is purely psychological, avoiding conventional horror techniques altogether. That choice makes it unsettling. It may even feel controversial to true believers.
