@raidenxmp continued from here:
Raiden didn't know about exhaustion, it was something he had never experienced before, but now on the Island, in this body, he was exceeding the amount of work and pressure he could take. The symptoms were light at the beginning of the week, he still was going to the store he owned (Siren's Song), taking his dog out to the forest at night, and didn't turn down any plan that any new friend would invite him to, in other words, he didn't know when to stop.
"Feeling perfect," Raiden held up his hand, his index finger touching his thumb, the rest of his fingers were up, making an 'ok' sign, and to make it more believable, he also smiled. However, he was feeling dizzy and, his stomach was fighting against his will to keep his lunch inside. There he was again, trying to stand up and that second attempt was better than the first one until he gave a step forward. "Or maybe not." He supported himself on the wall, closing his eyes for a brief moment.
she takes just a moment of letting him pretend like he’s all good, but then he takes a step, nearly keels over and she instantly puts her hand behind his elbow to help support him and keep him upright while his eyes close seemingly automatically.
“you for sure don’t look alright at all,” she says easily, but that’s spoken with the experience of a physician. even then, her conviction comes mostly from the way her abilities grant her a clear overview of how his body is seemingly running on its last reserves and is in dire need of some proper night’s sleep if anything.
“i would suggest you sit back down and take a moment. i don’t think anything’s as important as making sure you won’t fall over in a good minute.” she could, of course, heal him where he’s standing, taking away all the exhaustion and renewing his energy like it’s no big deal, but then she’s long learned that some people need to learn from experience that pushing themselves to - or past - their limits is not the way to go.
