A few days ago, I bought Vivia and Yakou's dlc and I was always wondering... what kind of description do their profiles have during these stories
During Vivia's story, his profile repeats a little information about himself and is also updated as the story progresses. This is a small piece of his profile at the end of his story. Unfortunately, I only saved part of the piece. sorry for that
And Yakou ones. I like how even his basic information changes a little as the story progresses
At the beginning of his dlc story:
When the story tells about the events of 5 years ago:
And in the end of his dlc story:
The biggest mystery around Vivia will forever be how he walk around without complaining about his back
The impact of "Ch. Yakou: Thank You, My Detective" on Master Detective Archives: Rain Code's story (and any possible sequel?)
The DLC for "Master Detective Archives: Rain Code" is complete. And having now played through all five of the "Substories," I think we can at least say that only ONE of them leaves any major impact on the larger narrative.
I wouldn't say "Ch. Yakou: Thank You, My Detective" is the best of the substories. Not to me, at least. But it certainly ends on a note that strongly suggests a change to the status quo we all understood when the game ended.
MAJOR SPOILERS for both the main-game narrative of "Master Detective Archives: Rain Code" and the DLC "Ch. Yakou: Thank You, My Detective" are under the cut.
Alright my fellow Vivia simps, I want some thoughts. (This is regarding the DLC so be warned)
Why do you think Vivia’s first interactions with Yakou and Yuma are so different?
When he meets Yuma, he comes off as fairly polite and pleasant, and their later interactions have him being decently friendly with him. But when he met Yakou, he comes off as very stand-offish, and actively wants nothing to do with him or the agency. Why do you think that is?

And another couple of my thoughts after Vivia’s DLC
Spoilers for Vivia's DLC and Chapter 4
Ok, I woke up and besides viviakou, there is one moment from Vivia’s DLC (there are several of them, but let’s stop in that one) that is spinning in my head
