I know I'm a gay nerd but stephen stills is very important to me okay
I hereby decree that, in all but the harry potter world, words like "witch" "wizard" and such determine the type of magic used or the morality of the person being labeled rather than their gender
recommend me music that is rly gay???
cupcake gender
coined by my nerd friend alaska who says:
I'm not sure what it means other than that I'm sweet and I'm not a gender.
Also I can be feminine and masculine and neither and both.
tell your friends
tbh I take every chance to indulge gay boy angst within myself because I have so much trouble with emotions due to my neurodivergencies and all the other marginalized aspects of my identity are messy and not talked about, so it allows me to put on some queer pop and just cry simple and justified tears. those are so rare for me.
also the gay boy musician gender presentation is the only place I feel really comfortable. idk idk.
when people reblog posts that you had tagged for triggers from you and don't tag them: why. stop. rethink your choices.
even now in the trans community we are just starting to get our first few really visible and open transgender idols and the idea of transness isn't at all viewed as a natural part of society, so all we have is narratives. some narratives created in media and some created by the few of us that are truly visible to people who aren't actively seeking out trans people to look up to.
and often (always) even the narratives of those few idols are washed down by reporters and public recounts to be closer to the story line that cis people are comfortable with. that's why its vital and life saving that we have diverse narratives that accurately portray true stories of trans people. a lot of the general population will never be able to imagine what it is like to have a defining part of who you are go completely unrepresented in everything you're surrounded with. or to have the only representations that you might have identified with be defined by negative connotations.
