(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻: What are your thoughts on school?
Big question. There’s a lot to talk about, furthermore the various school systems may differ a lot from each other (mine is the shame of Europe, basically). But, rather than the flawed school system, I’m more concerned about who is behind the teaching post. Countries may be different, but are the professors that influence us the most. They may make us like or dislike a subject because of their behaviour, and also affect your performance depending how they treat you. Psycologically, they affect us in a very strong manner, and that’s because to be a teacher you must be particulary sensibile and reliable. But some of them are not.
It’s time for personal experiences yehaw
When I was in Middle School I had a Germany teacher that we changed after the second year. She was mentally unstable, confirmed by the fact that he had to see a psycologyst regulary. So, how did she teach? Simple, he didn’t teach at all. We spent 2 years doing nothing, and when I say nothing I mean throwing paper airplanes, chatting with our classmates and doing everything but Germany. The result? All the things I can say are “Ich bin” and “Kartoffen”. Various parents complained, but the teachers cannot be dismissed. So she was transferred in another school to do more damage.
A similar event happened the previous year (I’m talking about Highschool) with my French teacher (damn why always languages). She wasn’t mentally unstabile, she simply couldn’t teach. She was disorganized and we had to study all on our own. She made speech about Egypht and vines that didn’t fit in the subject at all for a lot of lessons. She also returned corrected tests after two months (we took french in 12 in our class…) because on weekends she “had to relax”. Now I have a lot of problems in French too.
I never felt anxiety issues or other problems, so I’m not able to touch those topics. I think the presence of unqualified persons and the fact that they can’t be dismissed does urreparable damage to a lot of students, more that the system itself.
I want to talk about how we don’t even have the money to buy soap for the bathrooms (that one day it appeared for the first and last time I almost cried) and the fact that the paper for the photocopier is almost gold, but that’s mostly my country’s issue (at least, I really hope that no one else has such problems).
| (• ◡•)| (❍ᴥ❍ʋ): Favorite tv show?
None. (‘◡`;)┌ I watch TV with my family during dinner, but It’s only something in background while we talk together. They’re mostly documentaries o funny shows when we find them.
