"No," Rachel swallowed thickly before sipping the tea Santana produced upon entering her green room, "I'm a professional. 'The show must go on!'"

Santana scoffed. "No, babe. We all know you mean, 'the understudy can't think she's stealing the show, the bitch!'"

Rachel barely looked chiding. "Just because she hit on you does not mean I'm ignoring the storied tradition of show theater under-"

Smirking, Santana pecked Rachel's burning forehead. "That's totally what you mean, and you know it. God. Insane, sick, and possessive. My all-time favorite combo."

Searching her eyes, Rachel abruptly surged up, hands curling in Santana's hair as she pulled her down.

Gasping into Rachel's mouth, her hands gripping her tightly, Santana took Rachel's weight as she pressed into her. Then, groaning as she pulled back, licking her lips and staring down at her, Santana shook her head. "What?"

Rachel gazed up at her, hand sliding down to cup her cheek. "You caught me." She smiled, fighting to catch her breath, "You're always catching me."

Santana smiled... Then sobered. "We will be revisiting this, but - why the hell did you faint in the first place?"
