“I’ve been studying Russian at night when I can't sleep, and I think it’s to the point the textbook has burned itself into my retinas. I’ll never be able to go through my day to day life without seeing it.” Ches whines as she picks at her breakfast, it wasn’t that bad, but she really was going to have to swap it out for something else tonight. Perhaps it was the thing she felt she needed to give the most attention at the moment, but she had been spending so much time on it she was beyond sick of staring at the textbook. “What have you been up to recently, it feels like forever since I pestered you.” She had a lot to think about lately, she was avoiding Thomas, she had the situation with her father she was less than pleased about, and there was always just life at Carnifex in general. She was currently throwing herself into her textbooks at night more than she usually did.
It felt easier to bury herself in her work to the point she didn’t have time to think about anything else.
