okay. whooooo. here we go

well first of all, we have the big one (at least big to me), fandrew being a protoype while fandroid is a finished project. not much thought at all was put into fandrew's creation; he wasn't given hands, a proper face, or even a bow tie like fandroid was. why would they give him that stuff, he was just meant to be a prototype. he was meant to be abandoned from the start. they didn't give fandrew much as a second thought while they were building him.

now, fandroid on the other hand. they thought about him a lot. he was the finished project, the one that adhoc would fuss over for hours. they thought deeply about how to build him, they didn't rush him out so they could forget him easily. in fact, he was constantly watched, so constantly watched that it made him sick.

and speaking of watching. let's talk about fandrew's jealousy. he's jealous of fandroid because he got to be adhoc's golden child. he got to be in the spotlight, he got to have adhoc's attention, he got to stand on a pedestal and sing for thousands.

but he doesn't know that fandroid doesn't want the fame. he doesn't know that fandroid wants what fandrew has, a chance to break free from adhoc's expectations, a chance to step off of that pedestal and finally find out who he really is, who he is past the persona adhoc forced him to build.

neither of them realize one wants what the other has.
