Day 28: Same

Cho/Ginny, T, 456 words For Day 28: @femslashfeb's rainbow + @fluffbruary’s bathtub + @hpshipuary’s Cho/Ginny Also on AO3.

“Rainbow,” said Ginny.

The doors peeled away and Ginny stepped inside. Ron was just so gullible sometimes. There was no way that she would have owled home and told their mother that he had failed his last potions exam. Of course she enjoyed it when her brothers got in trouble, but she wasn’t a snitch. Thankfully, Ron didn’t know that and gave up the password to the prefect’s bath without further questioning.

Ginny had never been here before, but she immediately loved it. The bathtub was huge—easily the size of a small pool. She hastily stripped down then turned as many taps on as she could, watching the colorful water flow from the taps and fill the tub with rainbow bubbles.

When the tub was full and smelling like a field of flowers, Ginny leaned back and sighed, her tired muscles relaxing into the underwater seat. She should do this after every Quidditch practice, honestly.

She had nearly drifted off, floated away in a bubble-induced haze, when her relaxation time was interrupted.

“Oh,” said Cho, standing in the doorway, bag of toiletries in hand. “I can come back later.”

“No, it’s okay. I was just about done.” Ginny scooted off the seat, preparing to lift herself from the water.

“No, don’t!” cried Cho. Ginny raised an eyebrow at her. “I mean, uh… no, you stay. I’ll just…”

Ginny sat back down, resting her arms against the back of the tub. “We could always share.”

“You mean like… together?”

“Sure,” said Ginny, shrugging. She had always wondered why Cho and Harry hadn’t worked out. Maybe now she would find out. Not that she would ever tell Harry this, but Cho was way out of his league.

Cho gulped. “Um… okay.” Cho began disrobing, and Ginny politely looked away.

Staying a good distance apart, Cho stepped into the bath and let out a pleased moan. Ginny shifted in her seat.

“Soo…” Ginny said.

“Hmm?” said Cho, a bit dreamily. Ginny understood; this bath was magical.

“I hope you don’t mind me asking, but whatever happened between you and Harry?”

“Ahh,” said Cho. “About that… Harry’s great and all, and I’m so glad we’re still friends, but well… I realized I wasn’t attracted to… uhh…”

“Not attracted to him or not attracted to…” Ginny let her question trail off, not exactly sure what she was asking.

“Well…” Cho’s cheeks flushed faintly. “It turns out I’m not attracted to guys in general.”

“Oh,” said Ginny.

“Mhmm,” said Cho.

“I mean same,” said Ginny.

“Oh!”

They stared at each other for a moment, each taking in the implication of what they’d just confessed.

“So, did you wanna make out?” said Ginny.

“Yeah, alright,” said Cho.

Alright so I saw this beautiful fanart of Shoto Todoroki in this exact outfit and it just stuck with me, I saw it a year ago and just had to save the picture because 1 I love how they drew him in and 2 this dress, I LIVE FOR THIS DRESS!

But now for some reason I genuinely can't seem to find the original artist who drew that picture and I’m heartbroken I could have sworn I bookmarked them but oof not there, I’m still looking so that i can do 2 things 1 bookmark them and 2 give credit for this amazing outfit.
