You Should Get Out Of The Forest More Often, You Creepy Shut In.
Well, one certainly didn't see a sight like that everyday.
Alice had been out on one of her rare outdoor excursions, flying lazy lines over a rather lush and vibrant forest, when she caught sight of the strangest scene: a girl red and blue were wings speaking to what appeared to be a gray mannequin with a flower attached to its head.
The puppeteer had frozen to observe them, and very nearly suffered a flight malfunction when the mannequin had moved to leave the girl, who was clearly a youkai, alone in the forest. Alice had been left dumbstruck. Was the gray... person also a youkai? Alice hadn't had a clue.
And when Alice didn't have a clue... Well...
The blonde was a fairly curious person by nature, and, being a magician, had trained herself to question and research anything and everything she found to be unusual. So it was only followed that she would drop down from the skies and approach Nue, right?
"Excuse me, Miss Youkai, but I couldn't help but see you speaking with that strange fellow. Tell me, what kind of youkai was... he? I'm afraid I've never seen anything like him before."
What were Nue's dealings with the greys, anons, or whatever title you choose to give them? Well, that certainly would be a great unknown wouldn't it? On some level, it certainly made sense that the anonymous entities would have something to do with the Chimera of lore, but at the same time, Nue was just a single Youkai, one could hardly expect that she could somehow be responsible for something on that scale.
Without immediately turning to face Alice, Nue commented, “I'm not even sure it's a Youkai... Of course that's kind of the point.”
Nue turned to face Alice, and with a polite curtsy, “Pleased to meet you, I am Nue Houjuu, you are the doll master I've seen in the village are you not?”
