Far too often, I'm haunted by the memory of that time I was shopping in a craft store, took a pic of some of the store's cute pillows, posted it to Instagram, and someone thought that I was making those pillows myself to sell in artist alley. O___O; I continually feel stupid for not being more clear, and forgetting Instagram is assumed to be all art portfolios. Now I have a note in my account description, clearly stating "Personal account; not an art portfolio." I know lots of artists use their Instagrams as a portfolio, but don't lots of people use Instagram just to document their daily lives? My Instagram is seriously whatever nonsense happens to fill my day. Sometimes that's making art, sometimes it's just walking outside. Earlier this month, I literally posted a picture of my feet because I was wearing cute cat socks. Please, not everything on my Instagram is art I've made. o_o;
