These magenta and green were like making fun of me. They don’t blend well, both. They are both the only pencils I have that have such a weird texture, and I don’t know why I chose them together here… but that’s not me. The Captain made me do it ! My new WIP 💫. And of course it’s a Spock after a Kirk 😁 As I did for the Kirk portrait, I’m keeping the uniform's color as a base, and adding some contrasting colors to it. And I used some similar colors in both portrait, just a bit different so that they suit the base color. So they both have a magenta, a yellow and a green tone. My poison Ivy Deborah 🍁🍃 If you swipe you’ll see some of the steps of the creation, including that very weird one with only the eyes (scary ! 😁) I remember feeling very very uncertain during all the process (that was one of my first colored portrait), mainly because of the green face, but when I started the hair I felt that everything got into place and the result really pleased me. My Anson/Cullen is done ! This was my first attempt at a sepia color palette (with now mandatory rainbow), and I’m so happy with that result. I can tell you that this dark sepia color from Faber Castell isn’t lying ! It’s a gorgeous color, that I completed with nougat and cream (which makes me hungry). But let’s also talk about Anson 💜 ... ahhhh I think I smiled during all my drawing, and that’s all I’ll say 😋. No really, he’s a fantastic actor and I can’t wait to see both what’s next in Hell on wheels (I’m at the end of season 1) and Strange new worlds.
