I can't help being drawn to the first evolutions of all your redesigns! They're all so cute and little *u* I love Budew, Bidoof, Chimchar, Spheal, and Barboach are my favorites!

First stages are always a lot of fun to draw! I’m a big Digimon fan so I really love having them start super simple and then getting intense down the line. I know Pokemon kinda does that too but I really like how extreme Digimon takes it XD

I feel like changes between the stages is really important in making it feel like the Pokemon is truly getting stronger so I try to emphasize that. c:

Mmmm. (；¬д¬) Yeah, I’ll insult Leos. The main negative trait people always associate with them is vanity, but I’m pretty vain myself so that doesn’t really bother me. What does bother me is when they expect special treatment for no real reason, or when their behavior is OBVIOUSLY HARMFUL and they acknowledge it but are too lazy to change. They can be needy, expecting to be given way more than they expect to give and never thinking twice about it… and they can be shallow, too. It’s possible to be friends with a Leo for years and then one day realize you don’t even feel like you know who they are or what they care about. But most of the Leos I’ve had the pleasure of knowing are nothing like that at all.
